Refund Policy

1. The promise
We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee on every Shelf Republic licence. If, within 14 days of your purchase, you decide that Shelf Republic is not for you, we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason.
2. Who processes the refund
Shelf Republic is sold through Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record for the transaction. Refunds are processed by Paddle and credited to the same payment instrument used at purchase.
3. How to request a refund
You have two options:
- Through Paddle, by replying to the receipt email you received at the time of purchase. The receipt includes a direct refund link from Paddle.
- Through us, by writing to hello@shelfrepublic.com from the email address used at purchase, with the subject "Refund request" and your Paddle order reference.
Either route reaches the same place. Use whichever is more convenient for you.
4. Processing time
We aim to action refund requests within two (2) business days. Once approved, Paddle issues the refund to your payment instrument. The funds typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. What happens to your licence after a refund
When a refund is issued, the corresponding licence key is revoked and the Software stops being licensed to you. We ask that you uninstall the Software from any device on which it is installed. Your comic files, folders, and any local data are not affected — they live on your file system, never under our control.
6. Statutory right of withdrawal (EU / UK consumers)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase, under Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK regulations.
For "digital content not supplied on a tangible medium" — which is the case for Shelf Republic — this right is lost if you have given express consent to immediate execution and have acknowledged that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the download begins. Our 14-day money-back guarantee in section 1 is offered voluntarily, on terms more generous than the statutory minimum, and applies regardless of whether you have consented to immediate delivery.
7. Abuse
We reserve the right to refuse a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse — in particular, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles by the same person, refund requests after the 14-day window has elapsed, or refund requests after the licence has been shared, leaked, or distributed to third parties.
